Crosby Closed Spelter Sockets are premium wire rope terminations designed for high-strength applications where 100% efficiency of the rope's breaking strength is required. The socket baskets are engineered to accommodate specific wire rope constructions, ensuring a reliable bond when speltered properly.
Constructed from forged steel for smaller sizes (through 38 mm) and cast alloy steel for larger sizes (40mm through 102mm), these sockets offer superior structural integrity. The design features a closed body (eye) for secure connection to other rigging hardware.

All cast steel sockets (40mm and larger) undergo magnetic particle inspection and ultrasonic inspection to ensure quality.
